Travel Fees: Travel fees are not mentioned in Texas Statute. Such fees are proper only if the Notary and
signer(s) agree beforehand on the amount. The signer must understand that a travel fee is not required nor
specified in law and is a private charge separate from and in addition to the notarial fees described above.
Before/After Hours & Holidays Fees are also separate from and in addition to the notarial fees listed above.

Special Notes:  
  • Proof of identification is required of ALL signing parties.
    Valid forms of identification:
    State or federally issued identification card
    Driver's license, passport, military id or any card containing a
    signature and photograph issued by a state or federal
    government office. (If signer is an Inmate then, the Inmate ID
    card can be used as a valid form of identification).
    The card should detail eye and hair color, height, weight and
    date of birth. The ID card must be current.
  • All signers must provide their signature and their thumb print
    for the Journal of Notarial Acts for every document notarized.
  • The document(s) to be notarized MUST contain notarial
    wording: otherwise YOU must know and convey to the notary
    what type of notarial act needs to be performed.
  • All parties must understand what they are signing and doing so
    of their own free will.
  • Notaries are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of
    documents they notarize. Notaries certify the identity of
    signers. The signers are responsible for the content of the
    documents.
  • I CAN NOT explain the documents needing to be notarized.
  • If witnesses are required please make arrangements to have
    them present.
  • Verbal oaths will be administered to each signer.
